Week 10

Activity: MEETING WITH SUPERVISOR ABOUT DEFENSE PROPOSAL

This week, I met with My Supervisor to discuss the comments given to me during the defense proposal.

  • The problem statement should be consistent with the literature review to be utilized in the presentation, for example.
  • The objective must address the provided problem statement.
  • The usage of Blynk as an input and output.

Most significantly, I need to research whether this project will reduce the cost of farming the lake's fish pond.

Week 6

Activity: ATTEND FYP WORKSHOP 4 & PREPARE FOR DEFENSE PROPOSAL PRESENTATION

In this week's discussion at the 4th FYP workshop, which I attended, we learned about scoring for the defense proposal presentation. As a reminder, I only need to use the bullet point in the presentation later. I had a few days to prepare for the defense proposal presentation because it has been scheduled for week 7.

In order to decide what to include in the presentation, I gonna meet my supervisor. My supervisor wants to review all the presentation slides this weekend so that he can make sure there are no errors during the proposal defense because there are some things that need to be fixed.

Week 5

Activity: ATTEND FYP WORKSHOP 3 & FINDING THE DESIGN SYSTEM

I attended the third FYP workshop this week. I learned how to create a thesis and proposal writing during this session. In this section, I discover the standards that Chapter 4's Results and Discussion and Chapter 5's Conclusion ought to meet. In addition, I learn what should be in the proposal report's abstract or summary.

I'm looking for some details regarding the design system that will be followed to complete this project for this week as well. I will have a discussion with My supervisor about the components used to gather some data. I will then create some sketches for the eventual design system.

Week 3

Activity: REGISTER TITLE FOR FINAL YEAR PROJECT

The third week of this FYP 1 began today. We need to register the most recent title for our FINAL YEAR PROJECT this week. My supervisor Sir Zaki instructed me to list some of the problem statements for my project before moving forward with title registration.

PROBLEM  STATEMENT

  1. Employ numerous employees to maintain the sunshade
  2. The sunshades use poles, and wind becomes a major problem causing the poles to fall
  3. Because the sunshades use poles, you must keep an eye on your head.
  4. Because it has been exposed to the sun for too long, this fish is anxious.

Week 2

Activity: CHOOSE A SUITABLE TITLE  FOR THE FINAL YEAR  PROJECT

Students may choose from the titles that are supplied by lecturers (FYP Supervisor), as mentioned in the previous semester, or they may come up with original ideas. I also come up with my own title for my FYP project after giving it some thought. In order to comprehend the requirements and certain criteria necessary to accomplish the assignment, I read through the list of titles and each summary. Below is some title of projects given by my Supervisor.

When this was all said and done. I thought this project was interesting. I'll present this idea to my selection supervisor later. Keep checking for further updates.

Week 1

Activity: SUPERVISOR HUNTING

In the 1st week, I decided to search for lecturers that are still available to be the supervisor for FYP. In other words, I had been considering finding a supervisor to help me get through this semester even before I started this course. I have been thinking about a few lecturers that I could approach to be my supervisor. I tried to reach Dr. Zaki Ayob through WhatsApp before the semester started to ask whether He could be my supervisor and was happy when He said yes.

Project Desriptions

 AUTOMATED AQUACULTURE SUN SHADE

A technology called Automatic Aquaculture Sun Shade is intended to automatically shade aquaculture operations. To determine how much sunshine is reaching the farm, the system combines sensors, microcontrollers, and motors to alter the shade. The system is designed to be fully automated, meaning that it can operate without any human intervention. Yet if necessary, it can also be operated manually. Overall, the Automatic Aquaculture Sun Shade is a cutting-edge solution that can help aquaculture farms become more productive and sustainable.
